Position Overview

As a Pharmacy Support Specialist at Prime Care Pharmacy Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks that are essential for maintaining high standards of patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Prescription Accuracy: Ensure that all prescription information is correct and up-to-date.
  • Data Management: Input and maintain client information in our databases to ensure accurate records.
  • Pharmacist Assistance: Provide support to pharmacists in their daily tasks.
  • Inventory Control: Manage and maintain stock levels of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of prescriptions and medication dispensation.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare medications for clients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Compounding: Assist in the compounding of oral solutions, ointments, and creams as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a related role.

  • Attention to Detail: Must possess a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Client-Oriented: Focus on providing excellent service to clients.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
