Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Roll-Off Truck: Safely drive a roll-off truck to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and handled.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure that it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver is preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) are required.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position with a work term of up to 44 hours per week. The work language is English, and the work location is varied.
