About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Infrastructure Developer to join our team at T-Net British Columbia. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in driving the development culture towards proactive maintenance of our languages, frameworks, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to our customers
  • Work in an agile environment with our team of full-stack developers across a variety of projects
  • Utilize a wide range of technologies, learning new things, and challenging yourself
  • Participate in diverse projects and collaborate with multiple engineering teams
  • Review and provide feedback on peer code, both within your own team and across the organization

Requirements

  • Experience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale and Ruby on Rails
  • The ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment
  • Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large-scale SaaS products
  • Experience working with large-scale systems
  • A diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems
  • A portfolio of successful projects, as well as a collection of lessons learned from failed projects
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with fellow team members and customers

Compensation

The full salary range for this role is $107,500 to $126,500 to $145,500 CAD. In addition, this role is eligible for variable pay based on company performance.
