The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in assisting partners and managers to deliver high-quality services tailored to client objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients and partners across various projects.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and review of financial data.
  • Prepare working papers and corporate tax returns for managerial review.
  • Lead assurance teams in executing audit and review engagements.
  • Complete personal tax and other relevant returns for clients.
  • Participate in tax return pools for T1, T3, and T4 submissions.
  • Provide guidance to First and Second Year CPA Students both in the office and on-site.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in public accounting, encompassing compilation, review, audit, and tax preparation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA designation or having completed the CFE.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in CaseWare, Tax Prep, and MS Office applications.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a knack for building positive relationships and conveying complex concepts to clients.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical skills for both numerical and conceptual information.
  • Solid understanding of audit, assurance, and tax regulations.
