Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects, working closely with our design team, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure timely, safe, and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project execution plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage project teams, including craft personnel and staff, to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, to ensure project profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including safety, quality, and commercial risks, to ensure project delivery without incident.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project reports, dashboards, and registers.
  • Collaborate with project controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and project forecasting.
  • Develop and implement project improvement plans to enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction, with a focus on mechanical projects.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, designers, and project stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera, and Asana.
