About you

As the Executive Vice President, Capital Markets, you will collaborate closely with the President of Capital Markets | Canada to implement Colliers' strategy for revenue enhancement and market share expansion. Your role will involve sourcing, nurturing, and sustaining client relationships, alongside supervising valuation and financial analysis tasks. You will also be responsible for preparing essential materials for pitches, proposals, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and other client presentations.

In this role, you will...

  • Partner with the President of Capital Markets and senior leadership to spearhead business development and manage client relationships, expanding the client portfolio by identifying new opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the Capital Markets team in the creation and execution of proposals, presentations, CIMs, and various ad hoc projects.
  • Ensure effective team and project management, overseeing project timelines and guaranteeing that client expectations are met.
  • Formulate strategies for pitches and actively participate in presenting these to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Support the coordination and advancement of a streamlined Capital Markets | Canada platform.
  • Collaborate with Colliers Brokerage Advisors to enhance their capabilities and deliver additional value to clients.
  • Represent the firm as an industry expert at events and forums to increase both personal and company visibility in the marketplace.

What you'll bring

  • A valid Real Estate license, coupled with extensive experience in a comparable role within the commercial real estate sector.
  • Established relationships with Investors, including REITs, Public Corporations, Pension Funds, and other significant Institutional entities.
  • Strong leadership, strategic insight, and outstanding communication abilities. A proactive mindset is essential.
  • Proven capability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • A solid understanding of business and client needs, along with the cultural and financial dynamics of organizations and the marketplace. Strong leadership qualities are a must.
  • A Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics, real estate, or a related field being advantageous.
