**About Stripe**

Stripe is a leading online payment processing system that enables businesses to accept payments and manage their finances efficiently.

**The Challenge**

Large enterprises and ambitious startups use Stripe to process payments, but they often face difficulties in managing multiple accounts and reporting across different entities.

**Our Solution**

We are building Organizations, a feature that allows merchants to centrally manage their businesses across multiple Stripe accounts, making it easier to operate at scale.

**Your Role**

You will join a team with an ambitious goal, working on complex engineering problems and collaborating with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop scalable backend infrastructure
  • Uphold high engineering standards and elevate quality and efficiency within our codebases and processes
  • Mentor and grow junior engineers as their technical leader

**Requirements**

**Strong Technical Background**

We are looking for a backend engineer with 3+ years of experience, a strong affinity for building scalable infrastructure, and the skills to build holistically from specs to implementation, testing, deployment, and measuring impact.
