Job Summary:
At On Side Restoration, we are seeking a skilled Remediation Specialist to join our team. As a Remediation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients and workers by performing remediation services and removing potential dangers from the work site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments to identify potential hazards and develop remediation plans
- Remove and dispose of asbestos and mould contaminated materials in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean criminal record
- Ability to communicate in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow scope of work
- Interest in cross-training and professional development
- Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic building knowledge and physical fitness
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Asbestos remediation ticket
- Background in demolition or construction
