Job Summary

Lodex Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our vehicle operators and crews, ensuring the smooth delivery of goods and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: Coordinate the dispatch of personnel and vehicles according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitoring and Tracking: Monitor personnel workloads and locations, tracking shipments and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date.
  • Communication and Coordination: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work, mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
