Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Namaste India Restaurant and Bar.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Training and Development: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, maintaining accurate records and preparing budget estimates.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility and teamwork skills.
Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Language:English.
Hours of Work:32 to 35 hours per week.
