We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the innovation in measurement at internet scale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, launching, and maintaining measurement applications that compute accurate estimates of advertising impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical strategy of a business-critical initiative by collaborating with scientists to design, develop, launch, and maintain measurement applications.
- Work with data to understand advertiser needs and develop the most efficient ways of handling it.
- Closely partner with the science team on all aspects, from identifying and generating data to train in the face of shrinking ground truth, to inferencing to knowing we're right.
- Write code in languages like Scala, Java, or Python.
- Support and improve what you built.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 3+ years of leading design and implementation of machine learning systems.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience designing high-scale data pipelines.
