About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Devonshire House in Sudbury. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residents' living spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the location is clean, pleasant, and safe for customers in their home environment or communal areas.
  • Use cleaning products effectively, following instructions and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve a high standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Customer service NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous cleaning experience and knowledge is desirable.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively with cleaning products.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of equipment.
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
  • Health and safety awareness, including COSHH.
