Team Dynamics:
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Director of Service Delivery & IT Resiliency, leading a dedicated team focused on strengthening our cyber defense mechanisms. The team is responsible for various critical functions, including Service Lifecycle Management, Performance Oversight, and Disaster Recovery Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct a project team of moderate to large scale, articulating the project vision and expected outcomes while guiding team efforts towards achieving these goals.
- Collaborate with the Initiative Owner to ensure the project's overall health, including risk management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee resource allocation for project deployment, managing budgets, forecasts, and variances to optimize resource utilization.
- Develop comprehensive project and workstream plans, ensuring all activities are clearly defined, organized, and aligned with corporate project management standards.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing solutions as necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Consolidate and communicate information to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing IT Resiliency or Business Continuity projects.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and frameworks.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a project management environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience engaging with executives and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Additional Assets:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Experience with project scheduling tools such as Planview and Azure ADO.
