About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, integrating, and commissioning specialized electronic test equipment for mixed-signal (Digital & RF) electronic products used in satellites and other space-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the design of complex test setups and electrical ground support equipment.
  • Understand test and validation requirements and provide recommendations to the team lead for efficiency improvements.
  • Write and execute test procedures for space-flight electronics qualification.
  • Design and build custom test solutions, including custom racks, HIL systems, TVAC testing, instrumentation, cabling setups, custom test fixtures, and related apparatuses.
  • Design specialized PCB assemblies, oversee parts management for the test equipment, and coordinate orders with buyers.
  • Support the development of embedded systems, FPGAs, and Microcontrollers, and pilot their integration into the test system.
  • Develop a framework for automation of test sequences and support implementation.
  • Collaborate with engineers to analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing electronic test systems.
  • Strong understanding of mixed-signal electronics, including digital and RF circuits.
  • Experience with PCB design and layout tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or LabVIEW.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
