- Handle weekly and biweekly payroll inputs.
- Adhere to all established deadlines.
- Conduct reconciliations of assigned payroll general ledger accounts.
- Perform employment verifications.
- Deliver internal and external customer service as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
- Generate reports as needed.
- Maintain compliance knowledge pertinent to assigned tasks.
- Investigate and resolve issues by coordinating with HR, Workday System Administrators, IT, and regulatory bodies when necessary.
- Engage in testing for Workday upgrades.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Execute additional tasks as required to support the department and the organization.
- Post-secondary education in Payroll, Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field.
- Payroll certification (NPI) is considered an asset.
- 1-3 years of experience in payroll or equivalent accounting experience with some payroll processing knowledge. Financial acumen is essential.
- Familiarity with Workday is advantageous.
