Job Summary:

The Shift Supervisor is a critical role within JobCart Inc, responsible for ensuring the success of inspection operations. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and train inspectors to achieve perfect defect detection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and validate inspectors to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Inspect parts and demonstrate high-quality performance standards.
  • Positively motivate inspectors to achieve their best.
  • Train inspectors on administrative tasks to increase self-sufficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with inspectors, fellow Shift supervisors, and host support staff.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Actively support inspectors, Shift Leaders, and Project Leaders.
  • Seek feedback from inspectors on inspection methods.
  • Provide site orientation to inspectors (safety protocols, emergency procedures, etc.).
  • Maintain composure under pressure and remain professional at all times.
  • Be a positive example for inspectors and fellow Shift supervisors.
  • Support additional tasks as requested by the Customer or Project Leader.
  • Identify inspectors with potential for future growth opportunities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and train others. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a safe and inclusive work environment.
