Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated Bar Manager to enhance our guests' premium cottage experience. Our ideal candidate will be a genuine, loyal, and friendly individual who embraces the cottage lifestyle. As a Bar Manager, you will be an integral part of our family, rewarded for your commitment with competitive compensation, opportunities for professional growth, and exciting incentive programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance all bar operations while ensuring compliance with Turtle Jack's standards, policies, and procedures.
- Drive long-term profitability through effective leadership, boosting team morale, enhancing guest satisfaction, increasing sales, and mentoring future leaders.
- Manage budgeted sales growth and control beverage and labor costs.
- Ensure a clean, efficient, and organized work environment.
- Oversee the ordering and inventory management of liquor, wine, beer, and bar supplies.
- Provide coaching and development through a certified bar training program.
- Maintain operational excellence and adhere to all Health & Safety standards as per provincial regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all AGCO standards.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance to team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a similar restaurant setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and restaurant management software.
- Strong understanding of budget management, labor, and beverage cost control.
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
- A positive, All In attitude is essential.
