Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at RSR Road Surface Recycling Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Order parts and maintain inventory, adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation, and test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willing to travel to various locations to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess accurate, dependable, reliable, team player, and organized qualities, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
