Senior ServiceNow Developer

Purple Drive is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom workflows and application integrations to fulfill our customers' IT Service Management needs using ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom workflows and application integrations using ServiceNow
  • Work with customers to gather requirements and create solutions independently
  • Collaborate with other teams and colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in unit and functional testing
Requirements:
  • Experience developing in ServiceNow (JavaScript workflows update sets) ITOM CMDB
  • Experience with modern ITAM implementations and discovery integrations
  • Strong background in software development, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models
  • Knowledge of database application concepts, SQL query optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in dealing with problems across distributed systems
Desired Skills:
  • ServiceNow Admin and ServiceNow developer training and certification
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python, especially under Unix/Linux
  • AngularJS and Node.js experience
  • Familiarity with SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
  • Experience with web application user interface and usability concepts
  • Understanding of secure software development concepts, especially in a cloud platform
