Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Native App Developer to join our team at Applied Thermal Control Ltd. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality native mobile applications for a variety of platforms such as iOS and Android.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, code, test, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using programming languages such as Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance and compatibility across different devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and glitches through debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Integration and Security: Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and services to enhance app functionality and data connectivity, while implementing best practices for securing user data and ensuring data privacy within the app.
  • Documentation and Testing: Maintain thorough documentation of the app's codebase, processes, and updates for future reference and team collaboration, and conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the app's stability and reliability.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile app development to make informed recommendations and improvements.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience in native mobile app development for iOS and/or Android, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
  • Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android), solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices, familiarity with development tools, IDEs, and debugging techniques specific to the target platforms, knowledge of UI/UX design principles, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
