Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at Wiseman Mechanicals Inc. This role involves assisting in various construction tasks, including loading and transporting materials, mixing and pouring concrete, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials as required
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced personnel
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, following established safety protocols
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in underground, confined spaces, and noisy environments
  • Physical stamina to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
  • Will train on the job
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on safety and quality. We offer a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.
