Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient lab results and health information into our electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter patient lab results and health information into our electronic health record system
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of entered data
  • Scanning of documents may be required
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times

Requirements:

  • High school graduate (Grade XII) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-year experience working as a Data Entry Clerk (entering Lab Results)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
  • Satisfactory employment record and ability to legally work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs and electronic medical records
  • Knowledge in medical terminology
  • Experience volunteering or working in a healthcare environment

Asset Qualifications:

  • Working experience with MAXON/ARIA
  • Keyboarding of 45 wpm
  • Proficiency in terminal digit order
  • Ability to speak French
