Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at ABS Truck and Trailers Parts Ltd. as a key member of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles: Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Prepare and Package Goods: Prepare, package, and restock goods for delivery.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Manage Payments: Process payments for goods and services.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G License (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in warehouses.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: Work 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
