We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Banquet Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and functions at our hotel.

• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, including tables, chairs, and linens, to ensure a clean and organized environment for events.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
• Transport dirty linens to the correct area for cleaning, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves with clean linens.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimum service to guests, including providing exceptional customer service and responding to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and complete safety training and certifications as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No related work experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures, including food safety and handling.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
