Job Title: Fabricator - Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator - Metal Worker to join our team at J&T MACHINE KNIFE INC. As a Fabricator - Metal Worker, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal parts to form structures, laying out reference points and patterns, and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
  • Assemble and fit metal parts to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques
  • Operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as cutting torches, drills, and grinders
  • Construct patterns and templates to aid in the assembly process
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in metal fabrication
  • Ability to work in an urban area
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
