Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
This position is based in an urban setting, providing a fast-paced and vibrant atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean pots and pans to maintain hygiene standards.
- Prepare take-out food for customers with care.
- Accurately portion and wrap food items for service.
- Utilize both manual and electrical kitchen appliances for food preparation tasks, including cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment, are sanitized and organized.
- Receive and store supplies appropriately in designated areas.
- Manage kitchen waste by removing garbage and trash regularly.
- Maintain kitchen tools by sharpening knives as needed.
- Keep floors clean by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
- Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting them for use.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of handling heavy loads as required.
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Strong interpersonal skills and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Multitasking skills and a positive attitude are essential.
