Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Soubliere Interiors Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training to ensure that new employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs
  • Manage own company to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to track project progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure that they are properly maintained and functioning correctly
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure that projects are completed within budget
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Read blueprints and drawings to ensure that projects are completed according to plan
Supervision:

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of 16-20 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Construction Site Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Personal Suitability:
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Organized to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Reliability to ensure that employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties

The Construction Site Supervisor will be required to answer screening questions to ensure that they have the necessary skills and experience to perform the job.
