Position Overview

The Sales Support Specialist is essential in enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team by delivering administrative and operational assistance. This role is tailored for an exceptionally organized individual with excellent communication abilities and a proactive problem-solving mindset. The Sales Support Specialist will manage customer inquiries, prepare sales documentation, coordinate orders, and maintain customer information, allowing the sales team to concentrate on meeting their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction:
    • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, delivering prompt and precise information or directing them to the relevant sales team member.
    • Assist sales representatives in nurturing customer relationships by preparing follow-up communications and ensuring consistent engagement.
  • Sales Documentation and Order Coordination:
    • Accurately prepare and process sales orders, quotes, contracts, and other sales-related documents with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Maintain organized records of all sales activities, including order confirmations, invoices, and contracts.
    • Facilitate the delivery of products and payments by collaborating with logistics, manufacturing, and finance teams.
  • CRM Management:
    • Update and maintain customer data in the CRM system, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
    • Execute mass email campaigns.
  • Sales Performance Analysis:
    • Assist in compiling sales reports and analyses to provide insights into sales performance.
    • Track sales trends and customer feedback to identify potential areas for enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service capacity is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Position Details

This role is remote, offering a 40-hour workweek with flexible hours and alignment with the US time zone (EST).
