Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Assistant Supervisor Relief III to join our team at Lawtons. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling pharmacy assistants, and coordinating pharmacy workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule pharmacy assistants to ensure optimal workflow and customer service
  • Coordinate pharmacy workflow to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Manage department personnel, including scheduling, recruitment, performance management, and training
  • Coach pharmacy assistant team to deliver superior customer experience
  • Promote PROfile Programs and educate pharmacy assistants
  • Communicate operational requirements and changes to pharmacy support staff
  • Complete monthly reporting and supervise inventory management
  • Process customer transactions, including prescription assembly, refills, and compounding
  • Perform administrative duties, including filing, supplies, and cleaning
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Data entry, manual third-party transactions, cycle counts, narcotic counts, and TMLs
  • Product order receiving, deliveries, and drug order creation
  • Pill pack assembly, BTC management, and return to stock
  • Rx will call/release (guidelines)
  • Ensure OH&S and other regulatory requirements are implemented and maintained
  • Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a pharmacy assistant or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of MS Suite
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
