About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician - Appliances to join our team at Appliances Service Guys Corp. As an Appliance Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Electrical Appliances: Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults and repair electrical appliances and components.
  • Prepare Estimates and Plan Service Routes: Prepare written estimates of repair costs and plan service routes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Advise Customers and Use Specialized Equipment: Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment, and use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
  • Operate Various Equipment and Machinery: Operate air conditioning systems, electrical garden equipment, electrical lawn equipment, large household appliances, power tools, and small appliances.

Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
