Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team at Reach for the Stars Montessori Learning Academy Inc. As an Infant Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding: Ensure the physical needs of infants and toddlers are met with care and attention to detail.
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development, aligning with our Montessori philosophy.
  • Activity Leadership: Engage children in activities that foster learning and exploration, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and prepare detailed reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, highlighting areas of strength and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for children.
  • Environment Maintenance: Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate: A recognized certification in early childhood education is essential for this role.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates: Current certifications in first aid and CPR are mandatory for this position.
