About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Nbox Nanaimo Foods Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Food Preparation: Place dishes in storage areas, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Receiving and Storing: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Training and Development: Will train on the job to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Working Conditions
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Duration: Permanent position.
