We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Intern to support our International Student Engagement team at Assiniboine Community College. As a Student Intern, you will play a key role in promoting a positive and inclusive experience for international students, while also developing your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Student Engagement: Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to engage international students, promote college programs and services, and foster a sense of community among international students.
- Communication and Outreach: Collaborate with the International Admissions team to provide information and support to international students, and assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events and activities that promote international student engagement and cultural exchange.
- Team Support: Provide administrative support to the International Student Engagement team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with international students, college staff, and other stakeholders.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software and systems.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people, including international students, college staff, and community partners.
