In this role, you will:

  • Assist in evaluating the IB Project Portfolio regarding its overall health, risks, challenges, and interdependencies across various sectors and regions.
  • Collaborate on the execution of the portfolio prioritization framework by: Assessing potential opportunities and conducting evaluations to prioritize the portfolio in alignment with the Bank's strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate the adoption and management of portfolio management practices by serving as a trusted advisor and intermediary with leaders and teams across Enterprise Governance, Enterprise Strategy, and Local/Country Portfolio Management Offices, as well as Delivery/Project Managers.
  • Contribute to identifying and addressing necessary changes for processes and initiatives aimed at enhancing IB's operational performance and portfolio governance.
  • Oversee the upkeep and deployment of the portfolio management tool (CA PPM) and associated processes to ensure a dependable and controlled environment for project and portfolio reporting.
  • Support internal operational processes essential for maintaining portfolio integrity (e.g., metadata and financials).
  • Directly assist in the generation of monthly and quarterly portfolio reports as required.
  • Promote and foster a customer-centric culture within the team to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader Bank connections, systems, and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with IB PMO and Enterprise minimum governance standards.
  • Assist in the TSA process for regional projects.
  • Develop daily activities in alignment with the Bank's risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits, effectively communicating the Bank's risk culture and appetite throughout the team.

  • Project management expertise.
  • Over 1 year of experience in Banking or Project Management.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Organizational and project management skills, with a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with offices across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for the preparation and creation of presentations.
  • Experience with CA PPM tool, Power BI, and data visualization techniques.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a valuable asset.
