We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a Data Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing dimensional models for data warehouses, administering PowerCenter environments, and implementing database management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Modeling and Design: Use data modeling concepts to design and develop dimensional models for data warehouses.
  2. Data Integration: Design and develop data integration processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
  3. Environment Administration: Administer PowerCenter environments to ensure security, auditability, data validation, data analysis, performance tuning, and other required data integration-related activities.
  4. Database Management: Implement database management systems and design database models using Erwin.
  5. Dimensional Modeling: Design and develop dimensional models using star schema and snowflake schema methodologies.
  6. ETL Development: Design and develop mappings, mapplets, and reusable transformations using Informatica Designer.
  7. System Support: Support existing data warehouse solutions and fine-tune systems for optimal performance.
  8. Agile Methodology: Work in an Agile development software methodology.
Requirements:
  1. Long Track Record: A long track record of data warehouse/business intelligence design and build.
  2. ETL Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of current, hands-on development experience implementing ETL solutions, particularly utilizing Informatica PowerCenter ETL platform – PowerCenter 9.x or above.
  3. Database Development Skills: Strong database development skills, particularly implementing SQL solutions in Oracle 10g/11g Database to build large-scale applications.
  4. Logical and Physical Modeling: Experience and advanced knowledge of logical and physical database modeling concepts and techniques.
  5. Normalized and Star-Schema Models: Understand normalized and star-schema (dimensional) physical models and logical modeling concepts.
  6. Programming Experience: Extensive programming experience in SQL & PL/SQL, tuning, and optimization.
  7. System Requirements: Experience determining, developing, testing, and implementing system requirements and specifications.
  8. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Agile Development: Experience working in Agile development software methodology.
Education:

BA/BS in Business, Information Systems, Statistics, or a relevant discipline.
