About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Production Worker at HyLife. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for slaughtering hogs, butchering and packaging pork primal cuts, and maintaining our sanitation program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Slaughter hogs and perform evisceration and hide removal tasks
  • Butcher and package pork primal cuts for local, national, and international premium markets
  • Maintain our sanitation program to ensure a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Fit and capable of working in a physically demanding role
  • Capable of repetitive manual tasks and standing for long periods of time
  • Open to working in colder/warmer environments
  • Experience as an industrial butcher or trimmer is an asset
