Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Montesanto Bakery. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including determining the size of food portions and costs.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including inspecting kitchens and food service areas, and ordering supplies and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and organize buffets and banquets.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food products meet quality and safety standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
