Job Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Cloud Infrastructure
    • Design, develop, and test deployment of Well Architected AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Operate Cloud Infrastructure and Provide On-Call Support
    • Operate cloud infrastructure and provide on-call support
  • Perform Technology Evaluation and Selection
    • Perform technology evaluation and selection of managed cloud services
  • Champion Uptime, Reliability, Compliance, and Security
    • Champion uptime, reliability, compliance, and security
  • Mentor Junior Engineers
    • Mentor junior engineers in IaC and CI/CD practices

Qualifications

  • Strong Understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure
    • Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Strong Understanding of Containers and Docker
    • Strong understanding of containers and Docker
  • Strong Networking Skills
    • Strong networking skills
  • Experience Creating CI/CD Pipelines
    • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience Designing and Deploying Cloud Infrastructure as Code
    • Experience designing and deploying cloud Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with Streaming Services
    • Experience with streaming services such as Kafka, Kinesis
  • Experience with Observability Tools
    • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, ELK, Splunk
  • Experience with Python
    • Experience with Python
  • Linux System Administration and Scripting
    • Linux system administration and scripting
  • DBA Experience
    • DBA experience is a nice-to-have
