Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Sheet Metal Installer to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of work.

Job Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark sheet metal as per templates
  • Operate metalworking machinery for cutting, punching, drilling, shaping, or straightening sheet metal
  • Grind and polish seams, joints, and rough surfaces
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Provide guidance to apprentices
  • Cut materials using both power tools and manual methods
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment
  • Fit and join sheet metal components
  • Install sheet metal products in accordance with specifications and building codes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Qualifications
  • Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification
  • Experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
Safety and Security
  • Criminal record check required
Transportation Requirements
  • Valid driver's license necessary
Physical Demands
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Requires manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Capable of handling heavy loads and working under tight deadlines
  • Overtime may be required
