Billing Services Technician II

CLA is seeking a skilled Billing Services Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a critical role in supporting the accounts receivable process for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service / Client Expertise: Serve as the first level of escalation for customer service inquiries on all billing service clients. Coordinate property ownership change requests, preparation of final billings, and new customer setups. Research ownership issues with the county assessor, maintain records, and process notes on customer accounts. Assist with preparation and mailing of customer bills, delinquent notices, collect and post payments on account, assist with payment arrangements, and prepare shut-off notices.
  • Client Support: Assist with rate increases, preparation of consumption reports, water budgets, and mailing of newsletters. Prepare drafts of correspondence to support communications with residents and others.

Requirements:

  • Experience: minimum three years of customer service experience with strong data entry skills. Three or more years familiarity with Account Receivable principles.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in customer service or business related field a plus.

Compensation: The wage range for this position is: $ - - USD Hourly. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
