Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to provide exceptional care in a supportive environment. This role is essential in ensuring the health and safety of our residents.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a 1 to 2-year diploma from a recognized college or CEGEP program.
Work Environment

The position is based in a nursing home setting, focused on delivering compassionate care to the elderly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver health and safety education to patients and their families.
  • Administer nursing services in accordance with established care plans and patient assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care as necessary in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Required Certifications
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Valid CPR certification.
Work Conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding situations.
  • Requires manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing.
