Job Title: Pastry Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Decorator to join our team at Oh Doughnuts. As a Pastry Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing pastries and desserts for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
  • Prepare special orders
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
