Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Mouse & Ru Preschool. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

• Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students, ensuring a well-rounded and inclusive learning experience.
• Storytelling and Engagement: Engage children in interactive storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts that foster creativity, imagination, and a love for learning.
• Support and Guidance: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
• Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, highlighting areas of strength and areas for improvement.
• Staff Meetings and Collaboration: Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of our students, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

• Certifications and Memberships: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
