Maintenance Technician Job Description

Kenvue is currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Production Maintenance team. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is based at Guelph, Canada.

This position operates on the afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 11pm. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment, performing repairs, and supporting daily maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all manufacturing equipment, perform repairs, and support daily maintenance processes
  • Execute Preventative, Corrective, and Emergency Maintenance work orders by following internal SOPs and procedures while adhering to GMP and safety requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability activities where required.
  • Support job plan and preventative maintenance review and migration into Maximo
  • Own specific critical equipment as defined by the site's reliability roadmap

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Industrial Millwright 433A and/or Electrician 442A or Journeyman 309A, one ticket required, two an asset.
  • Proven track record of working independently to troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain production equipment.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving.
  • Technical expertise in processing and/or packaging.
