Position Overview

The role of the Agricultural Operations Supervisor at Garden in Gardens Greenhouse Ltd involves overseeing various aspects of farm management to ensure efficient production and quality control.

Educational Requirements

Candidates should possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

The work environment is primarily focused on:

  • Floriculture production
  • Tree and orchard fruit cultivation
Key Responsibilities

The supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Creating detailed plans to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Sorting freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable categories.
  • Organizing daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Overseeing field clearing activities.
  • Maintaining accurate financial and production records.
  • Coordinating and supervising the efforts of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
  • Ensuring adherence to farm safety and bio-security protocols.
  • Maintaining quality control and production documentation.
  • Keeping detailed work records and logs.
  • Recruiting and training new staff members.
  • Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
  • Performing general farm duties as required.
Experience

A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is required.
