Position Overview: The Security Architect serves as a pivotal advisor and authority in safeguarding our technological assets. This role is essential in defining the strategy and execution of technology initiatives across the organization. You will offer specialized security guidance to various teams involved in new projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to design scalable, reliable, and robust solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems while adhering to enterprise architecture principles.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of architectural documentation related to Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security, Data Protection, and Threat Management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during security assessments and reviews.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of technology solutions, including cloud services, containerization, APIs, and multi-tier application architectures.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge in both public (AWS, Azure) and private cloud environments.
  • Exhibit proficiency in network architecture and security best practices.
  • Contribute to the formulation and maintenance of technology roadmaps aimed at modernizing platforms to fulfill business goals.
  • Showcase analytical skills with a strong capability for problem-solving in intricate environments.
  • Influence strategic direction by implementing technological solutions that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are practical, balancing strategic objectives with tactical execution while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct impact analyses to assess changes on interconnected systems.
  • Support the evolution of the architecture practice by defining enterprise architecture goals and standards.
  • Provide expert guidance, lead technical teams, and serve as a trusted consultant to business stakeholders.
  • Work in tandem with Solution, Infrastructure, and Data architects to ensure comprehensive architectural considerations.
  • Exhibit strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively convey proposed solutions to senior leadership.
  • Engage in license and capacity planning activities.
  • Collaborate with vendors for outsourced solutions, evaluating their recommendations and offerings.
