About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Assembly Specialist to join our team at Scheltema Trailer Manufacturing Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and connecting electrical components, positioning and aligning parts for proper fit and assembly, and inspecting finished products for proper functioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and assemble or connect electrical components
  • Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
  • Connect cables, tubes and wires
  • Inspect finished products for proper functioning
  • Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
  • Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connection
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
  • Own transportation
