Role Responsibilities: This position is designed to support and empower nursing staff throughout Island Health or within a designated clinical program or service area. The focus is on achieving excellence in nursing practice through the development, implementation, and assessment of clinical nursing strategies, educational initiatives, and clinical resources.
Expertise Required: The role demands a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape, the principles of nursing, educational theories, program development, and evaluation. The candidate will provide leadership, role modeling, and consultation to foster a positive learning environment and advance professional nursing standards.
Qualifications: Education, Training, and ExperienceApplicants must have graduated from an accredited nursing program or possess an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN is required, along with three to five years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years in a clinical setting. A valid BC Driver's License is also necessary.

- Ability to operate relevant equipment.
- Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
