Position Overview

The Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and comfort of our guest accommodations. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing of floors
  • Dust and maintain furniture cleanliness
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered items
  • Make beds and change linens
  • Distribute fresh towels and toiletries to guest rooms
  • Organize and stock the linen closet
  • Sanitize and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other designated areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of elevators
  • Manage lost and found items
  • Provide guests with basic information about hotel facilities
  • Collect debris and empty waste containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed
  • Clean changing rooms and shower facilities
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns
