Job Summary

Trans Tank Systems, a leading assembly and service facility, is seeking a skilled Weights and Measures certified volumetric fuel meter and calibration technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate truck-mounted meters and registers to meet Weights and Measures standards and specifications.
  • Install and repair pumps, meters, registers, and other mechanical components on new, remounted, and in-service tank trucks.
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble, and maintain pumps, meters, registers, hose reels, hydraulic components, and other equipment.
Requirements
  • Pass the Bulk Retail Petroleum course with Measurement Canada and have experience calibrating fuel truck or service station meters.
  • Knowledge and experience using Measurement Canada's ORA online reporting system.
  • Strong attention to detail and competent mathematical skills.
  • Self-motivated and confident in their abilities, with the ability to work individually, in a team, and with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with pumping and metering systems on tanker trucks is an asset.

  • Regular weekday hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Fridays.
  • Salary range from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
